Pipe Dreams

Hi, I'm Andy Libertone. My sculpture is now included in the all Colorado show here at the Arvada Center. I'd like to present some ideas about my piece, "Pipe Dreams".

The title was used many years ago by noted Northern California sculptor Robert Hudson. A piece by that name was included in his painted sculptures from the mid-60s. Pipe Dream is coined as a dream of fantasy little to do

with reality. "Pipe Dreams" is a brightly colored steel totemic sculpture. It is a later piece from a long series of colored sculptures that I started about 2005.

My journey through art includes shows of photography, multimedia, and wood constructions and drawings. I've enjoyed many years of following architecture, music, and visiting many worldwide art museums as possible.

There is lots of good art out there.
