One by One #4

Hello, my name is Taiko Chandler. I am an artist living and working in Denver, Colorado. You are standing in front of "One by One # 4". "One by One" is the title of a series of sculptures that are made from discarded traffic cone cone bases along with dress maker pins. During COVID lockdown in 2020, daily walks around my neighborhood were the only way to connect to the real world. The quiet at the time was easy and surreal. One day, I felt the impulse to pick up a newly discarded object that seemed interesting. Including a few traffic cone bases. Even though I had no idea what to do with them, nor why I wanted to pick them up.
