Greenhouse Gathering

Hello, my name is Gayle Gerson and I am delighted to hang my mixed media work, Greenhouse Gathering, in the Arvada Center’s Art of the State 2025 exhibit. I am an artist and art teacher from Grand Junction.  This piece is done with many layers of image transfers from magazines and random photos and is part of my series entitled “Home At Last”.  This particular piece has gone through several versions as I added the figures and applied a layer of resin.  These progressive changes have added a slightly eerie atmosphere to this piece which I hope intrigues the viewer.
