Greetings, my name is Gina Blickenstaff. I was raised in New York by two professional artist parents. After attending Tyler school in Philadelphia, I relocated to Colorado and have been working consistently on this fine art career on the beautiful front range of the Rocky Mountains.
An important mentor of mine once said that artists comb the heavens for beauty and I think that’s largely true. It’s true in my life and it brings joy to me to be able to harness the beauty in our surroundings and to share it with those who lack the ability to concretize it in a form that satisfies and endures. Therefore, I believe that’s my purpose - to uplift and inspire through my art, and I do it every which way I can. I am grateful to have the opportunity to do this in the Art of the State exhibit. Whatever the environing conditions of life, you can always find me behind an art desk of one kind or another, be it an easel or a camera or a computer. Thank you very much for stopping by to view my art and I hope you enjoy it!
