Worker Bee is a comment on the value of labor. Just as workers, drones, and a queen are necessary to maintain a hive, so are all levels of labor necessary for the well being of a society. It also suggests the busy-ness of the contemporary world and that all that buzzing results in a job well done, a job one can be proud of. Labor achieves great dignity. It becomes a thing of beauty.
