Notes on Process:
Arriving at the OG studio in 2021, after numerous Covid delays, much of the project time with Deborah Zlotsky was spent problem-solving and figuring out the exact best method with which to make plates for her graphic, mod-inspired curvilinear images. The images started from rough pencil sketches, which went through hours of refinement in Photoshop, until the curves and arcs were just right. Then the Plexiglas plates were laser cut and carefully filed. The color mixing took 2 full days – Deborah has a deeply personal and profound sense of color and value. She is represented in Denver at Robischon Gallery.
