The Wichita Truck was made between 1928 and 1932 in Wichita Falls Texas. It was specifically designed to transport heavy equipment for the oil and logging industries. As you can see in the advertisement, it could carry up to 12 tons. This style was called the "oilfield special." They were known for their strength and durability, but the company went out of business in 1932 as the oil boom in East Texas began.
