Daisy Bradford Well Photo

This photograph was taken at the site of the Daisy Bradford #3 discovery well and shows "Dad" Joiner shaking hands with "Doc" Lloyd, with H. L. Hunt standing to their right. "Dad" Joiner had sold more shares in the well than he had available, leading to lawsuits when the well was successful. H. L. Hunt bought Joiner's interest in the well and dealt with the lawsuits. "Dad" Joiner later worked in other oilfields but did not have further success, while H. L. Hunt became extremely wealthy.
