Geology

Oilfield Geological Formations

Most oil can be found in one of nine different formations. The East Texas Oil Field is the big one in the middle. In this type of formation, oil is trapped between two rock layers. The oil is brought to the surface by water.

There is only one set of bathrooms in the museum, and they are in the lobby.

Please head to the large lobby wall with many photographs and click "Next".
