The brick structure on your left was constructed in 1975 and was home to the now deactivated 4th Recruit Training Battalion. At first, the females trained under Women’s Recruit Training Command, a separate entity outside of the Recruit Training Regiment (RTR). In 1987, they joined RTR as 4th Recruit Training Battalion. This was the exclusive unit where female recruits lived and trained until gender integrated training was instituted in 2020. In 2021, the first integrated company of men and women graduated from 4th Battalion.
Continue until the road ends at Chosin Reservoir Road and turn left. From the 1920s to 1930s, a large mooring mast for zeppelins and dirigibles stood near this site.
Continue until the road meets Cuba Street. Turn right and go straight.
