After Headquarters and Service Battalion is the Brig & Brew, now known affectionately as a place to grab a cold one alongside some pizza or fried pickles. Building 19 formerly housed the Depot’s correctional facility. It was constructed in 1899 as a Combustibles Storehouse. In 1913, it became a storehouse for the Naval Disciplinary Barracks established on Parris Island. When the Disciplinary Barracks closed in 1933, the building became the Depot Brig and served in that capacity into the 1990s when it was turned into a restaurant.
