Quinn Aiello: Karver/Klassic Powder Surfers

My name is Quinn Aiello and I’m a senior in the Industrial Design department at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Growing up in a family of artists, scientists, engineers and educators, I’m very interested in how the arts and design can transform the human experience in sustainable ways. During my early childhood, my parents owned one of the first commercial galleries in RINO Denver and I have been surrounded by art and design for as long as I can remember.

From a young age, I worked in my father’s fabrication and sculpture studio and spent my free time watching my mother paint elaborate landscapes. I am deeply passionate about the outdoors and helping people enjoy the Colorado wilderness. In 2021, I founded KAMBER LABS designing and manufacturing powder surfers to provide an affordable and accessible option for anyone wanting to partake in alpine sports.

The powder surfers at the Arvada Center are hand-made binding-less snowboards that can be enjoyed in any outdoor setting.
