Gayle Gerson: Tapestree

Hello, my name is Gayle Gerson, and I'm delighted to hang my mixed media work, Tapestree, in the family ties exhibit at the incredible Arvada Center, along with my son Eli Gerson's graphic design and craft beer creations. Creativity runs strong and deep in our family through several generations. Twila Tharp said that creativity is a habit, and I try mightily to reinforce that habit every day in and out of my studio. This piece is a result of an experiment in abstraction that morphed into a very particular tree.
