4 - Redbox

This rustic red box wagon rests in a field near Stony Run, PA. Whenever I drive by this scene, I imagine I can place my cares and worries in the wagon, and have them hauled away. I've painted five different versions of the redbox, some in oil, and others using egg tempera. My friend Dave Kline wrote a wonderful song to accompany this work for our collaborative project titled "The Place I Call Home."
