On the north wall of this chapel is a beautiful window designed by Henry Holiday and made by James Powell. It shows the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed a man who had been bedridden for many years.
The image with its inscription ‘Jesus Christ maketh thee whole’ is appropriate, since it was placed in memory of Sybella Ashley, wife of the Honourable Evelyn Ashley, who died in 1886, aged only 40, after a long illness.
