The bottom pair of windows were erected in memory of Georgiana Tollemache, Baroness Mount Temple of Broadlands, and date from 1902.
On the left, somewhat hidden by the carved sepulchre below, Christ walks on the water towards his disciples, who make the miraculous catch of fish.
In the right hand window, designed by Charles Hardgrave, the boat having reached land safely, Christ commissions Peter: ‘Upon this rock I will build my church’.
Leave the South Transept and turn right. Stop just after the vestry door.
