South Nave Aisle - Abraham and Isaac

Over the south door, is a window by Ward and Hughes, dated 1878. This shows the story of Abraham and Isaac: a messenger from heaven stops Abraham from sacrificing his son Isaac, who then sacrifices the nearby ram instead.

Ward and Hughes (formerly Ward and Nixon) was based in Frith Street, Soho. 

Turn left (east) and take a few steps into the next bay.
