In the centre of the south wall is a pair of windows proclaiming ‘I am the way, the truth and the life’.
One shows Christ on the road to Emmaus talking with two disciples and the other sharing supper with them when they reached the village.
The windows were given in memory of the Honourable Ralph Heneage Dutton, (1821-1892), who lived at nearby Timsbury Manor, and represented South Hampshire in Parliament between 1857 and 1865. Ralph Dutton’s face has been given to the right-hand disciple in each window.
