Tropical Rain Forests

Tropical rain forests are the primary setting of 8-12 year old children's birthday parties, during the early 2000's, unless you got a D in Social Studies, or were caught playing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City at your friends Steve's house, after your mom said it was filth, and that you couldn't have it, so she instead bought you a really lame educational game about fractions, or something dumb.

Alexandra's most memorable birthday with Jon was her 31st, which was jointly celebrated with her sourdough starter Fitzwilliam. It featured games including Bread Pong, Battergories, and a game that involved tieing one's toes to a piece of jam-covered bread. Jon's most memorable birthday was his 28th, where Alexandra printed at least 50 pictures of Jon's face and plastered them over the faces of superheroes on several Avengers-themed decorations.
