History of Druid Hill Park

Druid Hill Park is a 745-acre urban park in northwest Baltimore. It has the unique distinction of being the 352nd largest urban park in the country. I know what you're thinking, isn't Boston Commons the 352nd largest urban park in the country. No, it isn't and I'm sick of getting this question. Technically, private graveyards don't count as public park space, so it should be rightly subtracted from their park size, regardless of what Ryan from the Boston Department of Park and Recreation says. That amateur, Ryan. Anyway.

Lord Baltimore obtained land from the Sussqua-hanic Indians in the 18th century (hold on, Tony, there's no way that obtained is the right word there. Like, it was surely taken under duress, in a treaty that promised they wouldn't immediately murder all the Sussqua-hanic , which the colonizers promptly ignored, right? Whatever Tony, it's your project. I'll go along with it as long as I get paid). Whoops, I forgot to pause the tape. I'll keep going, and just make sure you edit this out in post, otherwise, this would be really embarrassing.

Among it's features include the Maryland Zoo, home of over 5,600 animals, of which an impressive seven are not rats! A 18-hole disc golf course, to cater Baltimore's growing population of people who like boring things. And of course, the Rawlings Conservatory and Botanic Garden.

Jon and Alexandra have been here before, but they don't really do outside things. In fact, they rock climb, but only indoors, because Jon is afraid of falling on anything that isn't a soft baby mat.
