Nan Fowler (d. 2007) arrived in Sausalito In 1955 and soon became a prominent member of the art colony and a best-selling exhibitor in the local art festivals. She was especially noted for her vibrant landscape oils of Marin and the Bay. Nan moved to Sonoma County in the 1980s where she continued to explore new mediums.
