designed this home for Thomas and Irma
Walbridge (it’s how Thirwal Drive got its
name.)
Mediterranean Villa style home overlooking
Maumee River.
Mediterranean style is reflected in red tile
roof, high chimneys, stone wall faced with
stucco. Includes copper eaves and down
spouts. The home also features wrought iron
decorative balconies and a Doric columned
pediment at the front entrance. Had separate
carriage house, greenhouse, and tiled
swimming pool.
