Directions to New Guinea

As you make your way around the Green, continuing up Church Street from City Hall, pause when you reach the corner of Church and Elm Street. If you look to your right, just two blocks down, you will see State Street, and what was once the beginning of another thriving Black community called New Guinea, which relates to a man we mentioned at the beginning of this tour.
