Smith House - 64 West Main Street
Built as a grand house of the Victorian Period, “Sunnycroft,” was completed in 1886 as the home of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Sullivan Smith. Mr. Smith was the receiver for the Pittsburg, Shawmut and Northern Railroad, while Mrs. Smith was instrumental in the building of the library across the street. Interesting quirks of the home include a walk-in safe, a third-floor ballroom complete with a raised orchestra podium, and the front parlor glass window is rumored to be Tiffany. More recently, the house had been known as the Angelica Inn Bed and Breakfast.
