Angelica Free Library - 61 West Main Street
After outgrowing the original location downtown, and much fundraising by many interested citizens, the library was dedicated in 1900 in memory of Lucretia Higgins by her daughter, Mrs. Clara A. H. Smith, a benefactress of the project. This building consists of the library proper on the west side of the building, the Colonial Rooms on the east containing many artifacts from Angelica’s history, and an assembly hall upstairs with a theatrical stage.
