Midtown Market - 190 North Main Street (area)

What now seems to be a wooded stretch of unoccupied land was once the community go-to for household conveniences, the "Midtown Market".

The store owner's name was Joe Dukes, and when the neighborhood kids came to purchase candy, he always gave a little extra.

The building was demolished sometime in the 1960s.
