Promenade

Promenade - along the waterfront

Not necessarily a historic attraction, the promenade that extends from the boat launch at Marina Park parallel to Main Street to about the 77 North Main Street mark, is a beautiful and flat stroll to take in a view of the river, or sit a spell and watch the boaters and birds.

Along this shore has been many an industry however - oystering, steamships, ferries, lumber, fishing and Wiley Manufacturing.
