Underwood Standard Bookkeeping Machine, post 1923
This bookkeeping machine has a standard keyboard along with a row of larger keys with fractions and miscellaneous characters. After the Kalamazoo Foundry Company moved into the building in the 1930s, this was left behind. The building on Reed Street was the former home of the Michigan Buggy Company, Michigan Motor Car Company and, up to 1930, the Roamer Car Company. Foundry employees used this up until about 1950 as part of their business equipment.
