Replica Radio-Controlled Model Airplane “Big Guff,” 1937
Built by the Good Brothers, twins Walt and William, Big Guff is a radio-controlled airplane. The plane had its first successful flight in 1937 at the airport in Kalamazoo. Walt and William Good won the RC Nationals with Big Guff in 1938, 1939 and 1940. The original Big Guff was given to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC, by the Good Brothers. This replica was given to Jim Gilmore one year for his birthday.
