The Oriente Museum

The Oriente Museum (Museu do Oriente) in Lisbon, Portugal, is a cultural institution dedicated to showcasing the rich and diverse art, history, and culture of Asian civilizations. Located in the Alcântara district, the museum is housed in a restored 1940s industrial building that once served as a refrigerated warehouse.

Opened in 2008 and managed by the Fundação Oriente, the museum's collection is extensive and varied, encompassing artifacts from China, Japan, India, and Southeast Asia.
