This beautiful mansion has humble beginnings. The once simple, federalist-style home belonged to a merchant captain Johnathan Ingersoll, until it was purchased by Joseph Peabody during the war of 1812. Interested in architecture, the Endicotts added a third story to the building, making it into an elegant Georgian revival mansion. Their son, William C. Endicott Junior, transformed the country estate into a gentleman’s farm with the addition of several buildings to the property.

To continue with the tour, please stay on the left side of the mansion as you walk towards the parking lot. Walk past the Glen Magna Farms sign as you leave the Glen Magna Farms property. Turn left when you reach the parking lot. Continue down the road to make your way towards the community gardens. You will find the community gardens on the right side of the road.
