In room
A double inspiration animates the work of Éliane Excoffier: on the one hand, the attraction for the representation of the female body, on the other an interest in photography, its history, its techniques and its tradition. Her artistic practice is rooted in photography, blending both digital and analog processes, where one often references the other, creating fertile ground for experimentation. For her, photography is based on the exploration of unusual or even archaic avenues and the darkroom is still her main place of creation.
