Inspired by the rooftop views at Humaniti Hotel, Layered Sunset is a series of vinyl graphics reflecting the light, warmth, and colour of a glowing midsummer sunset. Overlapping organic shapes shift from opaque to translucent, allowing light to filter through and create a dynamic interplay across the windows. Monochromatic tangerine tones and floral motifs bring a playful, uplifting energy to the space, designed to complement the vibrant yet relaxed poolside atmosphere.
Vanessa Spizzirri of Maed Studio is a Toronto-based artist known for her vibrant abstract murals and bold designs. Inspired by nature, her work explores the relationship between urban environments and the natural world through both murals and digital creations. She has completed over 23 murals and installations locally and internationally, collaborating with clients such as Bailey Nelson, RioCan, and Trillium Health Partners. Vanessa believes public art can transform shared spaces by fostering connection, joy, and a sense of belonging.
