In 1925 the greenhouse was created to provide flowers for the Wisconsin Masonic Home and Hospital for the enjoyment of residents and visitors throughout the entire year. This also provided an area to grow early plantings and seedlings for the gardens. It was removed in 1964.
In 1930 the pergola was built in front of the greenhouse at a cost of $16,700 in 2023 dollars (this was donated by Robert W. Roberts of Milwaukee) and was removed in 1961.
In 1970 members of the Eastern Star and a sponsor of the Chicken Barbeque (that began in 1969), constructed and paid for the shuffleboard and croquet courts. It was built to "promote the enjoyment of health and happiness to the residents of the Wisconsin Masonic Home."
