Garden

Experience the beauty of a stunning garden filled with majestic pine trees, verdant bushes, and a profusion of colorful flowers.

Featuring indigenous species native to the Portuguese forest, this garden offers a serene escape surrounded by natural beauty.

As you stroll through the garden, keep an eye out for the graceful presence of peacocks and other native birds, adding to the enchanting atmosphere of this tranquil sanctuary.

Please be advised that, it is forbidden for visitors to feed these animals, for their own safety.

Keep going on this road along the inner fortress’ walls, in direction of the stone bridge that goes over the dry moat, and grants access to the Castle’s Citadel.

Once you’re next to the stone bridge to the left, cross it, and enter the Citadel’s Barbican.

After that, keep going straight and enter the arched gateway with the massive red wooden doors.

Then go through the door opening on the wall, to the right.
