“There is a story woven through my life. It’s about connection. As a dentist, the values of respect, dignity, thankfulness and beauty guided me in how I served my patients. Those same qualities are how I feel connected to humanity, the land, waters and the air. I am in love with seeing and absorbing with my senses. Life pours over me.

As I travel the globe, I am increasingly thankful for the intelligence and beauty in nature. As I see more, I fall increasingly in love with the complex beauty that is our home. And I also feel responsible to share these experiences, in hopes that others will likewise appreciate the earth and our relationship to her. She has cared for us over millennia; our tree of life.  We now must grow in our wisdom to care for her.

We are educated enough to know a sustainable way forward. Will we be players who just throw it away, or will we engage in a choreography of choices that become a dance of thankfulness; an embrace between humanity and our mother earth?”
