Yogiji Maharaj was the fourth spiritual successor of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. He lived from 1892 to 1971.
He inspired Hindus to preserve their values and traditions beyond India, in Africa, England and America.
He initiated children’s activities and youth forums, promoting personal spirituality and service to society.
His own life was one of endless service and selfless love.
In 1970, in Islington, north London, he consecrated one of London’s first Hindu temples, prophesising then the building of a traditional stone mandir in London. That prophecy was fulfilled in 1995 with the opening of this Mandir.
