Founder's Garden

Upon entering through the gate near the event hall, you will cross the Tyson Terrace. Here we host many of our special events. The garden is also rented for weddings, receptions, and celebrations. The founder's garden sits to the right of the terrace. Notice the red bricks on the circle path around the fountain. The bricks are engraved with the names of some of our supporters. While in the Founders Garden, we like to sit and take a moment to appreciate the people that make up our community. The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks was founded by the efforts of hard working volunteers who first established this nonprofit in 1994, donated their resources, and help open the garden to the public in October of 2007. The garden sits on 42 acres, but less than 7 acres have been developed so far into the garden you will experience today. You can show your appreciation for our garden by respecting our plants and keeping our grounds clean. Please help us to stay beautiful!
