Welcome to the Tiny Room for Elephants Festival Audio Tour, presented by Love and Grit, a podcast from Visit Philadelphia that explores the authentic and diverse stories of the city.

The work you are viewing is by artist Taj Pos cé.

This work is inspired by adaptability, flowing with life and the opportunities that present themselves to you.

When asked, what does the phrase “made with love, inspired by grit” mean to your creative process, the artist responded: “I’m from Philly, grit is in my nature. My creative practice helped me understand love. I fell in love with the process of making, and I never stopped, because of my grit, when times were good, bad and ugly I kept making. Through that I realized that love isn’t perfect, it’s what you choose and what’s choosing you. Rather it be a person or a practice, who you love or what you love..it takes grit, because you have to give 100%, and even when it breaks you and you’re down, you have to learn to forgive and love again.”
