Sleeping Porch

This room is part of the 1914 addition and sits right above the sun porch. Rooms like this served as a space to sleep on a hot, muggy night before air conditioning existed. The room is lined with windows that can open, allowing any breeze to move through. The sleeping porch is only a three-season room, however, as it is not heated.
