Agnes Ma - "Oopsies"

We humans have a tendency to hold ourselves above other people, other living things, our surrounding environment, and more. As a society, our pride in selfish individualism leads to paths of division and separation. Well, oopsies. Now what do we do?

This piece is made from wood, bioplastic, and paper. The plinth was fabricated from the one sheet of plywood and whitewashed for other elements to be inserted into and attached to. The stanchions are hand built from PLA with a 3D pen. And the lodgepole pine, aspen, and sagebrush are repurposed installation pieces that are assembled from recycled paper materials and laser cut paper.
