Tudor Vianu's library and office were landmarks of a youth spent under communist dictatorship. A place for meeting, self-discovery and friendship, the Vianu home still holds memories of this secret society of solidarity — ‘a bridge of words over the abyss of oblivion’. When communism fell, it was in this house that Ion Vianu and Matei Calinescu were reunited.
