In the spring of 1993, Irina Nicolau and Horia Bernea prepared the room for the exhibition ‘The Cross’. In a meaningful silence, each object was carefully placed, and the cross became the centre of a story of faith, suffering and hope. Between them, the dialogue was simple but profound: ‘The cross is everywhere,’ said Irina, while Bernea observed attentively, seeking the beauty hidden in every detail. The museum came to life, a place where tradition and soul meet.
