MINIs To The Max: 65 Years of Spirited Adventures

The MINIs To The Max: 65 Years of Spirited Adventures exhibit celebrates the evolution of MINI and their passionate owners. Starting with MINIs heritage, the vehicle range including motorsport, unique special editions, and provides a look into the future of the MINI brand. The exhibition will run from May 1st, 2024 to January 18th, 2025. 

In 2024, MINI will be celebrating 65 years of fun and innovation and unveiling the fourth generation of the model range. While the original Mini is considered an icon of 1960s British popular culture, BMW has owned MINI as a brand for 28 years! Its space-saving transverse engine and front-wheel drive layout allowed 80% of the area of the car’s floor pan to be used for passengers and luggage and influenced a generation of car makers. Mini has a rich heritage of performance in race and rally cars, winning the Monte Carlo Rally in 1964, 1965, and 1967.

Today MINI continues its racing heritage in the TC America Touring Car Series. BMW launched the new MINI in 2001 drawing inspiration from the original two-door design and brought significant performance improvements to the brand.
