11 - Random Order

Near my childhood school is a long stack of rocks, placed there in no particular order by Mr. Glenn. I painted five versions of this scene over a period of years. I was interested in capturing how trees cast shadows on rocks and turf. Albany Township seems to be all about stone and wood.
