Rejected Project Proposal
Proposed Project Location:
Golden, CO
Concept:
This proposal was for a mural on the side of the Coors facility in Golden Colorado. This project was something that I was looking forward to applying for and pitching. The design was heavily influenced by the process of brewing Coors beer as well as the local community tied into it. The Design was something new for me and the way I put together my presentation was 10x more visually pleasing and detailed than prior presentations. This whole process for the Coors mural helped me to improve on the idea of how I'm presenting.
"I Regret to Inform You..." Artist Response:
This rejection was just one of many that I received. It's a little more work when getting the finals where you are meeting the committee and pitching them your idea. I view this as an opportunity to build relationships and practice pitching. Because many of the calls compensate for the presentation, I see it as beneficial work regardless of being awarded the project or not.
