There are two forest trails for visitors to explore! The half-mile loop, represented by a yellow circle, is an ADA-accessible porous pave pathway that loops around both of the forest ponds. The one-mile loop, represented by an orange diamond, is a rugged woodchip trail. There are many things to discover along this one-mile trail, including a covered bridge and a set of boardwalks. The boardwalks were extended in 2019 to ensure that visitors can enjoy this loop year-round. Every spring, temporary shallow pools, known as Vernal Pools, form in the forest, providing ephemeral wetland habitat for many animals, including Wood Frogs, Chorus Frogs, and Fairy Shrimp.
