The Baptistry is located just off the entrance area of the cathedral. Near the foot of the Bell tower, it features artworks in the mid-century style, related to Baptism. The font, designed by Hugo olms, was fabricated in Lucca, Italy. Olms invented a wooden-batik technique for a large mural of the Crucifixion.
The stained-glass window shows Jesus' baptism by John in the Jordan river.
Windows in the passageway, in the gift shop depict the Israelites crossing the Red Sea, as well as scriptural episodes of cleansing and healing.
