Sports activities in Lake Alfred have given us outstanding teams and individuals. Born and raised in Lake Alfred, Amos Watson, pictured above, went on to play in the National Negro Baseball League in the 1940s. Brothers Parks and Shane Bonifay, also raised in Lake Alfred, are current professional wakeboarders.
