SAUSALITO, UNITED STATES

Sausalito International Whiskey & History Trail (Spanish)

Welcome to the Sausalito International Whiskey Trail — your virtual guide to the historic waterfront streets of Sausalito, connecting each establishment with the history and whiskey that makes it unique.

For 250 years, the world has come to the shores of Sausalito. From the first Spanish explorers who named this place in 1775, to the English sailor who made Rancho Sausalito his home in 1838, to the Gold Rush and beyond — where Portuguese boatbuilders, Irish & Chinese railroad workers, Italian & German merchants, French bistro owners, and American settlers all followed — each culture leaving something permanent in Sausalito's heritage.

The Sausalito International Whiskey Trail brings that multicultural history to life by making it tangible — and tastable. Our two-mile trail celebrates Sausalito's connection to its international heritage and the spirits they brought with them. There is no more beautiful or historic waterfront where one can experience such uniquely international sights, sounds & flavors.

The Sausalito International Whiskey Trail is co-sponsored by the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce and the Sausalito Liquor Company
